JLT has its own access point to Sheikh Zayed Road, which means Ibn Battuta shopping Mall, Mall of the Emirates and many other areas of the city are just a short drive away, including Jebel Ali Port, JBR, Media City and Dubai Marina. Abu Dhabi can be reached in an hour or so.

Transport in JLT is easy as the area is connected to the Metro system at two points: its own Jumeirah Lake Towers Station and Dubai Marina Metro Station. Dubai Tram is accessible by a walkway that crosses Sheikh Zayed Road. There is also a feeder bus (route F40) that runs from JLT Metro Station to Marina Mall
Schools in JLT include preschool options, such as Kids Kingdom Nursery School in Cluster L, Learning Ladder Nursery in Cluster V, Oakfield Early Learning Centre, opposite Cluster J, and Kids Kare Nursery in Cluster E, which accepts little ones from just 3 months old. Primary and Secondary schools are available a short drive away, including Dubai British School in The Springs, Emirates International School in The Meadows and Regent International School in The Greens.
