Jovelyn is a Filipina, wife, and mother of two. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. In 2005, she conducted a research project on "The Effects of Early Pregnancy on the Career Paths of Young Mothers." The results of this study have motivated her to persevere and continue working towards her dreams.

Jovelyn has always been very family-oriented, understanding that her family members are the ones who will always be there to support her as she strives for success.

For eight years, she worked as the Head of the Human Resource Development Department for a Manpower and Pest Control Company in the Philippines. She actively participated in seminars and conferences on Employee Management conducted by The People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP). The training and experience she gained through these opportunities have made her more equipped in her chosen profession.

In 2013, Jovelyn made the decision to step out of her comfort zone and travel 4,383 miles in search of better career opportunities for herself and her family. She joined haus & haus as one of the pioneer employees and, within a year, was promoted to a managerial position. Currently, she oversees the day-to-day operations of the Administration and Human Resource Department, managing the administration of HR policies and procedures. Additionally, she is responsible for implementing and executing various tasks, including recruitment, job classification, salary and wage administration, employee visa applications, and labor relations.

Jovelyn finds inspiration in Carl Jung’s quote, "I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become."
